Everyone has an opinion, everyone has concerns, but we are working on solutions. The problem is that even when the work is done and the program is ready, the training begun, the hiring done, there are some of our team that feel it is not going to be worth all the changes and training to keep working with the children.
I am old. I have lived through these changes before, and sometimes the changes ended up helpful, and sometimes they were a disaster and set aside. State workers come and go, some are very helpful and some are detrimental to our operation. Likewise, County edicts are sometimes helpful and sometimes not helpful at all. We work to be problem solvers and partners with all the government workers that come our way.
In the end, we are doing all this to help children, and to me, THE CHILDREN WILL ALWAYS BE WORTH WHATEVER LAWS CHANGE, WHATEVER IDEALS ARE POPULAR AT ANY PARTICULAR TIME, AND WHATEVER HOOPS WE HAVE TO JUMP THROUGH.
THE CHILDREN ARE WORTH IT! So hang in there for the children's sake.
