I really appreciated the comments made by one speaker during one of the services. While nothing can really take away the emptiness that comes with such a loss, his comments gave some comfort.
He said that we were made for relationships. and thus of course we will feel an emptiness where that relationship physically was.
Therefore, it makes sense to build solid, loving, happy relationships so that should we lose the "physicalness" of that relationship, we will still have the memories and thoughts we built.
We have really had this brought to our attention many times this month, so I think we better pay close attention; use the seven connecting habits of Listening. Respecting, Supporting, Encouraging, Trusting , Accepting and Negotiating all differences.
Let's pay close attention to building forever relationships.
